We just finished having this dock built. Now we can sit out and watch the sun come up and move to the other side and watch the sun go down. Life is very good!

our new boat
doesn't he look thrilled to be wearing a life jacket?
a great view from the middle of the canal
that is Lake Erie in the distance
this is the way to spend Home Evening - with more gas we would have tried fishing
One more day of fun
Saturday we met at Seacliff Park for a picnic with some of Pete's family. It was a great outing and after lunch the kids really enjoyed the splash pad. Afterwards, we spent the rest of the day and night at the lake house catching butterflies, and making Smores. I managed to get in a nap while watching a movie with Logan. Breakfast on Sunday happened around one of the footstools in the living room - and then Papa loaded them all up and drove them back to Sault Ste. Marie leaving me alone at home, sad and lonely but excited for the next visit on Labor day weekend.

Our Friday with the kids
Pete made a quick trip to Sault Ste Marie last weekend to pick up Donna and her four children. We visited Point Pelee National Park on Friday and then spent some time at the lake house. Dinner and a hot tub experience in Kingsville were followed by bed time stories, family prayer and sleep. Stay tuned for Saturday and Sunday.
