Hospital Stay

One caged leopard. I need a 'Get out of jail free' card. I have been in Victoria Hospital in London since Friday. The picture shows me being given a lasix drug intravenously. It is supposed to help clear water from around my organs. I am looking for a 15 pound weight loss. The extra water was seriously impeding my breathing ability and so I am glad to be here. The nurses have been super. I'm in a private room and the TV gets the Food Network and Meals on Wheels at 8:00 am, 12:20 pm and 6:00 pm. What a wonderful life. My eternal buddy stayed the weekend with me. I wonder if this is how it's going to be in the kingdom - I give the recipes and somebody else makes the meals.

My MG

This is my new set of wheels. Thanks to cousin Gordon who gave me a lot of help finding this little beauty - let the good times roll. It gets delivered Saturday morning.

another baby adoption

The lease on my G6 ends in another two weeks. We are looking at the purchase of a 1977 MG. I'm a classic lady and so I should have a classic car and 1977 was a really good year. If we decide to go ahead, we"ll own it on Thursday. The one we are looking at is a dark cherry.

Welcome to Sook's orchard Baby B tree

I learned this tradition from my Gundersen family. We plant a fruit tree upon the arrival of a grandchild. MacKenzie has a yellow delicious apple, Logan a pear tree, Sydney a cherry, Hunter an apricot and now Baby B has a peach tree.
