The Amazing "See" World

It was a clear day. Not many people. And we were able to see everything we wanted to see - right up close. These kids love fish and underwater adventures. Once we got the sunscreen out of Leah's eyes and move fast enough for Dillon, it was amazing to watch them feed stingrays and enjoy the wonders of the water. Patrick was in his glory too. But for me, hearing Kim giggle and watching her blue eyes sparkle as she watched her family was the highlight. The greatest decision of the day was to rent a stroller to keep the sun from their heads and their feet rested.

this was our Sea World 'greeter' as we entered the gate

Dillon talking with a squirrel - can you see him?

Manitees eating spinach - funny that they get this large eating greens

Kim got in the action too

Leah was in her glory. She talked about it for the rest of the day

It wasn't raining - the sun was just too hot on our backs

one turned left and one turned right

this was amazing - Dillon was catching bubbles and laughing his head off

Dillon was pretending to be a ride operator at Sea World. Incredible imagination

All in all it was perfect day. We left and ate fish at Red Lobster and came home and swam for two hours.

They have arrived

We picked up Kim, Patrick, Leah and Dillon from the airport on Wednesday evening. Since then we have
been to Downtown Disney for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, an appointment with a face painter and a makeover for Princess Leah at the Bippity Bop Boutique. We also took a trip to Madeira Beach and enjoyed the beautiful white beaches. We are having lots of fun and look forward to SeaWorld tomorrow.

We're not sleeping so we must be eating

The greatest thing about being in your 50's (60's for Pete) is that your farmer friends are spending a month in Florida too. Summer being so busy for all of us, we never have time to get together. It was great to spend the evening with Tom and Carrie at Bahama Breeze.

More of the same, but different

We haven't posted anything new for some time now. These are some thoughts from the past two or three days. We enjoyed a nice afternoon with Scott and Cassandra and family. It was great. Here's hoping the weather stays as nice for the week as we have experienced the last two days. We should have taken our camera out, but we didn't. We are going to meet for lunch on Thursday at the Rainforest Cafe with Scott and Cassandra and family, and Patrick and Kim and family. We will have our camera out that day.

a tasty piece of bread from the Cheesecake Factory

and there we both are

bright sunshine and 85 degrees F

Pete has finally tried sandals - he now feels like a big boy (no comments on the unmanicured toes)

nothing to do but eat and sleep - what a life!

A day in Davenport

Nothing to do now that my company is gone, I am reduced to reading recipe books in the sun.
Do you feel sorry for me?
Great to have your best friends in the same city to go out to dinner. Then we went back to their house.

Breakfast at Tiffany's (oops - Denny's)

We started our last day together with breakfast at Denny's. From there we journeyed back to Downtown Disney. As you will see, Jim and Pete took a ride in a balloon. The weather was initially cool and overcast but eventually gave way to warm and sunny.
